Abstract

Etableringen af et smart home økosystem – en samling af smarte teknologier på tværs af segmenter i private hjem – skaber værdi for både virksomheder og kunder. Dog genererer kompleksiteten af et smart home økosystem, der er baseret på datadeling og personalisering som en nødvendighed for værdipræsentation, også spændinger mellem værdien skabt af datadeling og værdien af personvern.

Derfor undersøger denne undersøgelse, der er baseret på en undersøgelse af 1049 forbrugere, accepten og brugen af smart home enheder og smart home økosystemer ved at observere drivere for personalisering, tillid, privatlivskomponenter og teknologiaccept. De empiriske analyser viser, at især forbrugernes opfattede værdi fra personalisering spiller en betydelig rolle i accept af smart home økosystem.

Dette forskning tilbyder resultater til teoriudvikling og praktiske implikationer ved at udvide eksisterende teknologiacceptmodeller til økosystemer og ved at vise behovet for fokus på sofistikerede personaliserede applikationer inden for et smart home økosystem.
